On your device, and — if you are signed in to iCloud — in your own private iCloud database so your other devices can read it. There is no Tinge server, and we never see your entries. See the privacy policy for details.

With your permission, each tap is saved as a State of Mind moment in Apple Health. It is write-only — Tinge never reads your Health data. You can grant or revoke access at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.

• Make sure both devices are signed in to the same iCloud account.
• Check that iCloud Sync is on in Tinge’s Settings → Data on both devices. After switching it on, quit and reopen Tinge.
• Check iOS Settings → your name → iCloud and confirm iCloud is enabled for Tinge on both devices.
• Sync can take a moment — open the app and give it a minute.

Check iOS Settings → Tinge → Notifications and make sure notifications are allowed. If your phone is in a Focus mode, allow Tinge there too.

Settings → Privacy → Require Face ID. Tinge then unlocks with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Authentication is handled entirely by iOS.

Yes, in Tinge’s Settings. Under Language, pick English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Français or Español — or System, to follow your iPhone — then reopen Tinge to see it in the new language. The widget follows your choice; Siri phrases follow your iPhone’s language.

Settings → Data → Clear all data. This wipes the local store and your custom labels, and deletes the State of Mind moments Tinge saved to Apple Health; if iCloud sync is on, the deletion propagates to your other devices. There is no recovery.
