The city of Utrecht holds 11 of the province's 37 Museumkaart museums: the Centraal Museum, Museum Catharijneconvent, Museum Speelklok, the Spoorwegmuseum, the nijntje museum, the Universiteitsmuseum, Sonnenborgh Museum & Sterrenwacht and Kasteel de Haar among them. Amersfoort has six, including Museum Flehite, the Mondriaanhuis and Kunsthal KAdE. Country houses line the province: Slot Zuylen, Kasteel Amerongen, Museum Huis Doorn and Landhuis Oud Amelisweerd. The Nationaal Militair Museum in Soest, the Waterliniemuseum Fort bij Vechten and Nationaal Monument Kamp Amersfoort cover military history, Leerdam has the Nationaal Glasmuseum and its glassworks, and Oudewater keeps Museum De Heksenwaag and the Touwmuseum.
