Amp for Android
Terms of Use
Last updated: October 25, 2026
For Amp on iPhone, see the iPhone terms of use.
About Amp
Amp: Tesla Costs & Mileage Log (“Amp”) is provided by TIT, the Netherlands. By using Amp on Android you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. Downloading Amp and buying Amp Pro through Google Play are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
Independence and Trademarks
Amp is an independent app that uses Tesla’s official Fleet API. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Tesla, Inc. “Tesla” and related names are trademarks of Tesla, Inc. and are used only to describe compatibility.
Your Account and Your Car
- Use Amp only with Tesla accounts and cars you are allowed to use. Car owners decide who may access their car in the Tesla app.
- You are responsible for the commands you send, such as unlocking, opening the trunk or frunk, venting windows or turning off Sentry Mode. Check that it is safe and appropriate before you send them.
- Remote commands can fail or arrive late, for example when the car has no connection. Don’t rely on Amp for anything safety-critical.
Subscriptions
- Live status and controls, alerts, automations, widgets, Quick Settings tiles and the charging notification need Amp Pro, an auto-renewable subscription, billed monthly or yearly.
- New subscribers get a one-month free trial when Google Play offers it to their Google account. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged; otherwise the subscription starts automatically at the end of it.
- Payment is charged by Google Play to the payment method of your Google account when you confirm the purchase (or when the free trial ends). The subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel it; after you cancel, Amp Pro keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Manage or cancel your subscription in the Play Store → Payments & subscriptions (or from Amp: Settings → Manage Subscription). A subscription you took out on an iPhone is managed on the iPhone, in iOS Settings. Deleting your Amp account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country and change over time. A price change applies from a following period, as Google Play notifies you.
- One subscription covers every Amp user of the cars linked to your account (for example an owner and their drivers), on Android and on iPhone.
- Amp Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase instead of a subscription. It covers the same, never renews and doesn’t expire while we offer Amp and Amp can reach cars through Tesla’s API; if Amp is discontinued, it ends with it. Buying it doesn’t cancel a subscription you already have: cancel that in Google Play (or, for one taken out on an iPhone, in iOS Settings).
- After a subscription ends, your drive, charging and battery history stays viewable; live data and controls stop until you subscribe again.
- Guest mode with the demo car is free and needs no account.
Availability
Amp depends on Tesla’s systems and on our server. Tesla can change or limit its API at any time, which may affect features. We aim to keep Amp running smoothly but can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features.
Information Accuracy
Status, ranges, energy use, costs, trip logs and technical details are derived from data your car reports and from estimates. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check trip logs before using them for tax or reimbursement purposes.
Liability
Amp is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, TIT is not liable for indirect or consequential damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, Amp. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Ending Use
You can stop using Amp and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend access in case of misuse.
Governing Law
Dutch law applies to these terms.
