Amp Tesla charging costs, mileage log and battery health
See what your Tesla really costs. Every charge at its real cost, and on a dynamic tariff smart charging in the cheapest hours, with what it saved. A mileage log that keeps itself, battery health day by day, and your car live on iPhone and Apple Watch.

Live, without waking the car
Battery, range, charging, climate, locks, doors, windows and tyre pressures stay current without waking the car and draining the battery. Climate, seat heating, defrost, charging, locks, trunk, windows and Sentry Mode — from your iPhone, Apple Watch, Siri, Shortcuts or Control Center.
Widgets, alerts and automations
Home and Lock Screen widgets, a charging Live Activity in the Dynamic Island and Apple Watch complications. Alerts when charging stops, the car's left unlocked or a window open, tyre pressure is low or Sentry goes off — with buttons to lock, close the windows or resume charging. Climate schedules defrost earlier on frosty mornings, and Amp can close the windows before rain.
Every drive, logged automatically
Route, distance, efficiency and cost for every drive, without starting anything in the app. Tag drives business or private — or let rules tag them for you — lock finished months and export a monthly trip log as CSV and PDF. Shared car? See who drove and split the charging cost.
Cheapest hours, real costs
On a dynamic energy contract, smart charging plans each charge in the cheapest hours before you leave, and each one shows what it saved compared with charging straight away. Every session is logged with energy added, power curve and cost at your fixed or hourly price; fast charging billed to your car account shows what you were actually billed, with the invoice. A monthly report covers home-charging reimbursement.
Battery health over time
Usable capacity and range at 100%, recorded day by day, and how much charge the car loses while it's parked. Selling the car? Create a battery report as a PDF, with a QR code buyers scan to check the numbers.
Private by design
You sign in on the car maker's own sign-in page; Amp never sees your password. Your data is stored in the EU, never sold, and you can delete your account and history in the app at any time. No ads, no tracking.
Try it with a demo car. Look around Amp without signing in or creating an account — guest mode with the demo car is always free.
One subscription for every car. Amp Pro starts with a 14-day free trial, then costs €3.99 a month or €34.99 a year — £3.99 or £29.99 in the UK, $3.99 or $29.99 in the US. It covers all your cars and everyone who drives them in Amp, with every feature included: no price per car, no higher plan.
Bring your history. Coming from another app? Export your drives and charging sessions there as CSV and import them in Settings → Data & Integrations. Amp shows what it will import before it saves anything, and an import can be undone.
Only for Tesla. Amp is made by TIT and works with Tesla Model 3, Model Y and Tesla Cybertruck, and with Model S and Model X built in 2021 or later. It is an independent app, not affiliated with, endorsed or supported by Tesla, Inc.

Frequently asked questions
Which cars does Amp work with?
Only Teslas. Amp is made by TIT and works with Tesla Model 3, Model Y and Tesla Cybertruck, and with Model S and Model X built in 2021 or later, in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific. The car's owner signs in once and adds Amp's virtual key; drivers the car is shared with sign in with their own account.
Does Amp wake the car or drain the battery?
No. While the car is awake it streams its status to Amp; Amp never polls it and never wakes it on its own. It only wakes the car when you send a command and confirm that you want to, or when something you set up runs: a climate schedule, a smart-charging window or closing the windows before rain.
Can I use Amp as a trip log for business mileage?
Amp logs every drive automatically with addresses, times and odometer readings. Tag drives business or private by hand or with rules, add trips it couldn't record, lock finished months and export a monthly log as CSV and PDF; every change is kept in the drive's history. It is not an officially approved logbook — check with your tax adviser whether it's enough for you.
How does Amp calculate charging costs?
Set a fixed price per kWh for home and for elsewhere. On a dynamic contract, add your price area, markup and VAT (on Agile Octopus in the UK, just your region), and charging at home is priced at the market price, or Agile's rate, for the time it charged. Fast charging billed to your car account shows what you were actually billed.
Does Amp work on Apple Watch?
Yes. The watch app shows battery, range and charging, lets you lock and unlock, start climate or charging and flash the lights, and puts the battery level on your watch face. It connects to Amp on its own, so it also works when your iPhone isn't nearby.
How much does Amp cost?
The app and its demo car are free, and the demo needs no account. Amp Pro, which connects your own car, starts with a 14-day free trial and then costs €3.99 a month or €34.99 a year in the euro countries, £3.99 or £29.99 in the UK and $3.99 or $29.99 in the US; the App Store shows the price for your country. One subscription covers all your cars and everyone who drives them, with every feature included.
Is my account safe?
You sign in on the car maker's own sign-in page, so Amp never sees your password, and you can revoke its access at any time. Your data is stored in the EU, never sold, and you can delete your account and history in the app.
